THE HISTORY

The origin of Puerto Banús dates back to the 60s, with José Banús its founder, beginning the construction of a new luxurious residential area called Nueva Andalucía. He was helped by Noldi Schreck, an architect and designer from the fanciful Beverly Hills neighborhood, who created in the businessman the vision of creating a more exclusive, ambitious project with international repercussions.
Puerto Banús has been founded on the concept of an Andalusian-style Mediterranean town, with majestic avenues adorned with colorful gardens bathed by the sea. The inauguration of Puerto Banús was in 1970, with the participation of more than 1,500 guests.
