In total, there are three flights diverted to Malaga, from Paris, Palma de Mallorca and Valencia. On the official Aena website of Seville Airport they are indicating, in real time, in the flight information section, cancellations and delays. These three diverted flights include (at 10:30 am) the delays of flights to Seville from Bilbao, Madrid, Barcelona, Rome, Brussels or Cork. These delays last, for the moment, until almost 11:30 in the morning. Flights arriving at Malaga Airport can also be consulted on the official Aena website.

The bulk of the registered users traveled on commercial flights, totaling 1,416,974. Of them, 276,996 traveled on flights originating or ending in a Spanish city (10.4% more than in February 2023), while 1,139,978 opted for connections abroad (+31%), which represents 80% of all those that have occurred this month.

Regarding international traffic, the markets with the highest demand in ababsoluteute terms were the British (293,867 passengers) and, with a slightly greater distance, the Dutch (97,875), the German (94,116), the Italian (70,975) and the French (64,644). ).

Regarding the rebound in operations, of the 10,122 total aircraft movements handled last month, 9,902 corresponded to commercial connections: 2,494 national (+9%) and 7,408 international (+25.1%).

The good performance of traffic last month favors the balance so far in 2024. Between January and February, 2,767,772 travelers traveled on 20,452 flights in Malaga's's infrastructure, which translates into increases of 23.4% in users and 16.3% of movements compared to the same months in 2023.
